Both are valid imo.
First proposition is especially great if you’ve already put the welder away, but really need to get that grounded to the ground look ASAP.
That said, personally, I’m a fan of this particular car lowering solution:

I think the ones on the left would be slightly better as they haven’t undergone extensive he at treated area. I said slightly safer. Both should be banned.

I wouldn’t think a handful if zipties would be strong enough to hold that. Then again the way the spring is compressed looks odd. How are they fully compressing 5 coils, but the top 6th one they’re wrapped around isn’t fully compressed too? Seems like that gap between 5 and 6 (top 2) should be distributed evenly between each coil. Maybe there’s other zip ties we don’t see?
